Overview

web4player is designed to keep as little of your data as possible. We do not require registration and we do not sell your data.

Playlist details and credentials

When you load a playlist URL, upload a playlist file, or enter Xtream login details, that information is used only to open the player. It is stored briefly on our server under a random, single-use token, handed to the player once, and then deleted (tokens also expire automatically within minutes). We do not keep a copy afterward.

"Remember me" (local storage)

If you choose "Remember me", your playlist or login is saved only in your own browser (local storage on your device). It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. You can clear it any time by logging out or clearing your browser data.

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage and minimal cookies strictly to run the player and remember your preferences (such as your chosen stream format, favorites, and that you accepted this notice). We do not use them for advertising.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting server may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and time of request) for security and troubleshooting. These are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

Third parties

The actual media you play comes directly from the third-party server your playlist or login points to. That third party may receive your IP address and other technical data as part of delivering the stream. Their handling of your data is governed by their own policies, not ours.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we do not retain your playlist, credentials, or an account, we typically hold little or no personal data. To make a request, contact us via the details on web4player.com.

Children

The Service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
